The new European Commission portal on SME Internationalisation:  https://ec.europa.eu/growth/tools-databases/smeip/

This site is an EU initiative to help European companies seeking to do business with countries outside the EU by providing practical help.

The portal hosts a database containing information on hundreds of service providers (at regional, MS and EU levels) to support SME internationalisation activities as well as Information on funding possibilities and the instruments direct and indirect that exist in the framework of several EU programmes (relevant programmes in 25 priority third country markets) -  Overview of EU Instruments contributing to the internationalisation of European enterprises

Several directorate general of the European Commission have contributed to the overview (DG GROW, FPI, DEVCO, NEAR, REGIO, RTD, and TRADE), reflecting the increasing interest over the last years in the internationalisation of European businesses from different EU policies.

The Portal offers

  • information on the services they offer
  • links to other EU-backed sources of help/advice. (among which EU Cluster Portal)

and is continuously developed to cover more third countries and enrich  the list of service providers in EU and existing target markets, as well as to include new features (calendar, news, links to new sources of information useful for SME internationalisation, etc.)
