PARSEC is an EU project which aspires to provide start-ups and SMEs with the necessary resources to develop and launch Earth Observation-based products and services into the market.

Accelerator activities were officially launched on May 21st, 2019 in Brussels and will be running for the next 2.5 years. PARSEC will support its applicants through a comprehensive acceleration programme, offering a total of €2.5 Million euro equity-free funding, alongside coaching, training and market entry support. The project focuses on three emerging sectors: food, energy and environment. Through two Open Calls best teams and ideas will be chosen to receive variety of support services, which can be divided into four overlapping groups: knowledge, technology, market, and capital.

  • Access to knowledge - providing applicants with training programme, webinars, workshops
  • Access to technology - creating and developing three Large Scale Demonstrators available for participants: Big Data Toolbox, In situ data hub, and eoMALL and eoPAGES
  • Access to market - organizing matchmaking events and exporting promotion
  • Access to capital - €2.5 Million euro equity-free funding for beneficiaries of Open Calls, Investment Readiness Programme, and Regional Smart Specialisation Info Card providing participants with knowledge where to obtain further funding

The first Open Call for teams wanting to take part in the project will start in September 2019! 100 beneficiaries of the 1st stage of the programme will get financial and professional support to develop their ideas and eventually introduce their product onto the market.
