The 7th Balkan & Black Sea Conference - Days of Clusters 2016
The 7th Balkan & Black Sea Conference “DofC 2016” is a definitely grown into a leading cluster-based economic development event in the SEE. The DofC on the topic “Creating Cluster-Based Economic Development for a Sustainable Region“ will be held from 22th to 24th September, 2016 in Ohrid in Hotel “Inex Gorica”.
The National Center for Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Learning in Skopje in partnership with the Cluster House, The Business Start Up Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia will host the DofC 2016. The conference DofC 2016 is under the patronage of the cabinet of the President of the Republic of Macedonia H.E. Prof. Dr. Gjorgji Ivanov, The Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Prof. Dr. Taki Fiti, President and the Governance of the Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Macedonia.
During the VII conference that is to be held in Macedonia the presence of over 250 participants from 25 countries is expected. It is planned to have array of brokerage events B2B, B2C, C2C, meetings with businessmen and other events related to the development of business opportunities in the country and the region and bilateral agreements will be signed between various clusters of neighbouring states. There are two main sections planned: for cluster managers and representatives of the companies and academic section with focus on academics and researchers (please find the attached to this email a copy of the document “GENERAL AGENDA DofC 2016 Ohrid”). This year’s conference will be focused on wine and tourism.
