THE DRAGON-STARPLUS EU-CHINESE BROKERAGE EVENT
ICT aspects in Industry 4.0 and Advanced Manufacturing
On July 8th 2016 European companies and research organizations will have the great chance to meet innovative Chinese organizations in the field of information and communication technologies, as well as to generally inform themselves on cooperation with Chinese partners, in Stuttgart, Germany. This EU-Chinese Brokerage Event will be organized in the context of EUPIC’s West China Business Delegation visit with representatives from Chengdu and Sichuan Province. In the framework of the Chinese ”One Belt & One Road“ initiative the Government of Sichuan Province supports enterprises seeking cooperation partners in Europe and other countries. On the European side the event is organized by Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum within the EU-funded project Dragon-STAR Plus, which aims at supporting the policy dialogue and cooperation between European and Chinese actors in research and innovation.
The aim of the brokerage event is to bring together European and Chinese research and industry representatives in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) with relation to advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 for potential collaboration.
The morning’s presentation session will provide the opportunity to find out more about the relevance, perspective and goals in EU-Chinese collaboration in ICT. Furthermore, selected Chinese representatives will pitch their innovative technologies. In the afternoon’s brokerage participants will have the chance to meet potential Chinese cooperation partners in pre-arranged meetings.
An online catalogue with the cooperation profiles of all participants will select suitable meeting partners in advance of the event. A few days before the event each participant will receive his/her individual meeting schedule – to guarantee an efficient meeting implementation. Participants are invited to take this opportunity by registering their organization with a short profile in the online catalogue.
The full day event is free of charge, all presentations will be held in English. English-Chinese interpreters will be provided for you.
