Description

A EU-EaP PLUS-funded clusters workshop will be held on the 11-12 July 2018 in Georgia to share experiences, good practices and vision on the clusters' landscape in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries.

One of the main goals of the EaP PLUS project consists in strengthening clusters in the EaP Countries, transferring EU’s good practices in terms of cluster policy and cluster management, and facilitating sustainable inter-cluster cooperation between EU's and EaP countries’ existing and emerging pre-clusters.

For this purpose, the International Center for Advancement of Research Technology and Innovation (ICARTI) - the Georgian EaP PLUS partner - is organising a two-day workshop, with the support of the project coordinator, the Centre for Regional and International STI Studies and Support (CeRISS), and another project partner, Inno TSD.

The workshop will serve as a follow-up activity to the EaP PLUS Cluster grant scheme which financed six EaP cluster organisations for cooperation activities with their respective EU cluster partners, through a highly competitive call.

As such, it will be the meeting place for the six selected EaP clusters and their EU counterparts and all other interested EaP and EU entities, including expert speakers from the EU, local participants from Governments, EU delegation to Georgia, Enterprise Georgia, Georgian clusters and local press and media. When: Wednesday and Thursday 11 and 12 July 2018

Where: Old Tbilisi Hotel, Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue, 27, Tbilisi, Georgia

Registration: registration for the workshop is free, however this event is by invitation only. If you wish to attend the event, please contact Givi Kochoradze at gcp [at] ip.osgf.ge ().
