The European project Health2CARE is co-financed by the European Commission (DG Grow) and coordinated by the Regional Council in partnership with the competitiveness poles Lyonbiopole, Minalogic, Plastipolis and the i-Care cluster. Its objective is the emergence of innovative solutions driven by regional start-ups in the domain of personalised health. Gathering different technological and applied fields such as biotechnologies, medical devices, plasturgy, micro-technologies and software, Health2CARE helps us to explore new intersectoral value chains.
The Health2CARE project is in complete line with the cross fertilisation approach of the Regional Innovation Strategy (RIS3). It has reinforced the links between poles and clusters in the field of personalised health at a regional level, but also at the European level. It has allowed us to detect and select the most innovative promising projects and provide companies with a support adapted to their needs and maturity level. The start-ups have been helped by «innovation vouchers» such as writing of business plans, market studies, international development, regulatory affairs and reimbursement policies on medical devices.
We are very pleased to invite you to the final conference of the project which will take place in Lyon (place to be confirmed) on 31st March together with several European experts and regional innovation stakeholders. This event will be the occasion to report on and discuss the main results of the project as much on a political level (benchmarking with other European regions) as on an economical level (lessons learned from innovative project holders).
