Industrial applications of advanced materials and nanotechnology
The event offers an excellent opportunity to learn about latest developments and current projects in this field and to exchange ideas and experiences with experts from different European regions.
Building upon the successful event, which took place on 16 December 2015 in Brussels and initiated the thematic discussion on lightweight manufacturing, the RIM Plus is bringing together the key stakeholders from Upper Austria, Saxony, Eastern Netherlands, Silesia and Liberec, including the economic operators as well as representatives of relevant excellence networks. The following cooperation topics for finding joint solutions developed by partners of the participating organisations will be discussed:
1. mechanical processing of fibre-reinforced composites and hybrid solutions;
2. production process of thermoplastics composites;
3. textile reinforced cellular plastics and composites;
4. manufacturing and processing of hybrid textile reinforced composites;
5. functional composites and lightweight materials; and 6. metal, polymer, and ceramic coatings.
