Description
Traditionally, coatings used in the construction sector are decorative or protective paints for walls and wood work. However, more and more coatings with other functionalities are developed and used in buildings and on building materials: protective coatings for concrete, easy-to-clean coatings for tiles and windows, heat-reflective coatings for windows, uv-protecting coatings for plastic construction materials, fire-resistant coatings, ... On 21 September, the cluster ‘Innovatieve Coatings’ organises a workshop and matchmaking event on this theme (10.30-14.00).
This event aims at bringing together companies from the building and the coating industry and is co-organised by WTCB-BBRI (Belgian Building Research Institute) and the Walloon Cluster ‘Eco construction’.
Morning session: - the needs of the building industry - 2 illustrations about the use of coatings in the building industry - 2 minutes pitch - presentation of each participant for the B2B
Afternoon session: B2B matchmaking: bilateral meetings with the other participants .
