The coronavirus pandemic changed the flight training market because air carriers no longer need thousands of pilots. This is the case at EasyJet, Delta Air Lines and Lufthansa, and analysts predict that demand will be lower for years.

The crisis marks a sharp turnaround compared to recent years, when some airlines paid bonuses between 25,000 and 30,000. dollars to attract pilots. Two years ago, some regional airlines, such as Emirates and Qantas, grounded some of their fleets due to a lack of pilots. Major US airlines have stopped hiring pilots, and the recent boom in the training industry may turn into a crash for aviation schools that have invested heavily to accommodate more students.

Recruitment of pilots in the US may start again in two to three years, which means that pilots finishing training had a difficult time.
