Polish national air company PLL LOT announced that they would resume passenger flights from June 1. LOT crews serving passengers during the flight will be equipped with masks and gloves; passengers will also be required to cover their mouth and nose with a mask throughout the entire trip. Drinks and snacks will be served in disposable packaging.

Initially, passengers will be able to use LOT connections on the routes: from Warsaw to Gdańsk - up to three times a day; from Warsaw to Kraków, Poznań, Rzeszów, Szczecin, Wrocław and Zielona Góra - up to twice a day and from Kraków to Gdańsk - once a day.

For the safety and comfort of passengers on board aircraft, the + Safe Flight + procedure will apply which includes both safety rules on board the aircraft and throughout the entire path that the passenger has traveled since arriving at the airport. The carrier ensured that HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate-Air) filters, equipped with LOT aircraft, remove 99.9 percent airborne bacteria and viruses. In addition, the deck, storage compartments above the seats and luggage hatches are regularly disinfected using special biocides.

All this will certainly contribute to higher air ticket prices.
