Boeing announced that due to the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) on the aviation industry, it will reduce employment by approximately 6,770 employees at plants located in the United States. Boeing factories located in other countries are also currently carrying out reductions to be made in accordance with local regulations.
