Much of the research currently done focusses on COVID-19. While providing immediate solutions, it offers us the possibility to take various measure to make the research and innovation ecosystems resilient and more connected to the companies. To exit the COVID-19 crisis, we need to reconfigure skills and talents, applications and information and communication technologies

As Athanasios Konstandopoulos, CPERI/CERTH, stated, we need a paradigm shift in research to further cross disciplines and mobilise the community to be more resilient. Therefore, the European Alliance Against Clusters will continue its work with the concept of these co-evolving ecosystems
