Throughout Poland, only grocery stores and beauty supply stores could operate in shopping malls during pandemic Covid19 for over two months.

In the second stage of loosening the restrictions, clothing stores could finally be opened.

However, they are struggling with a difficult situation after about two months of closing of stationary stores.

According to statistics, on the first day after their reopening, about 50% of those who visited the malls before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in Poland visited them.

This resulted an increase in the number of online purchases, however, many shops still recorded a drastic decrease compared to last year.

Some brands have decided to reduce the number of showrooms, while others are in negotiations with gallery owners on the amount of rent paid.

As the statistics show, huge shopping malls in large cities have suffered most.

Small retail parks have done much better.
