Children and young people are most at risk of pandemic effects due to their ongoing emotional and social development. Isolated from peers will result that they will have problems with challenged in their ability to establish appropriate peer connections and socializing with other kids.

In addition, a child who is 'locked in' with a parent working remotely does not really have his 100% attention. Most often, the first place is work (which is understandable due to the need to earn money), then household duties (food, shopping, cleaning) and this child is left alone. Adding to the list the stress of a parent who must be multi-tasking at one time, this time is not good for children.
