A global „lockdown", as it is called to stop human activity due to a pandemic, has a noticeable impact on reducing smog and greenhouse gas emissions in many parts of the world. However, many experts point out that the reduction in gas emissions will be short-lived, as it is only due to the temporary nature of the constraints associated with the pandemic: industrial plant closures, reduced efficiency of coal-fired power plants with reduced industrial demand for energy, etc.

There is no shortage of voices that a pandemic will cause a decline in every respect, including investments in green energy, as people will be less willing to save future generations as a result of the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus. However, experts indicate here that it is worth to take advantage of the fact that our air during the pandemic has improved significantly and do everything to keep it that way.
