The 2016 BSR Innovation Express call resulted in 20 new international collaboration projects, involving more than 675 SMEs

Our colleagues from the BSR programme proudly inform that the 2016 BSR Innovation Express call resulted in 20 new international collaboration projects, involving more than 675 SMEs.

The BSR Innovation Express call (open between 1 May – 31 October 2016) attracted 59 applications from cluster organisations and business networks in 8 funding and extended partner countries. Of these applications, 39 have been approved – directly engaging 675 SMEs in international innovation collaboration activities. The collaboration projects are implemented during the course of 2017 and 2018.

33 applicants have teamed up in 15 joint projects (with 2 or more partners receiving funding). In addition to these joint projects, 5 more projects have been approved – resulting in a total of 20 new international collaboration projects (see overview of IE projects 2016).

Project partners come from a range of business sectors including environment/green technologies, ICT, healthcare/medical devices, energy, agricultural products, and materials/new materials.
