Agility and solidarity of clusters in the COVID19 crisis

Submitted by Alina Danieles… on 01 April 2020

The role of clusters and ecosystems is recognized by France and Europe in the management of the health crisis: the new European policies (industry, SMEs in particular), mention them as essential actors.

Despite their confinement, cluster management teams are more active than ever. In response to the many European, national and regional requests made to them, they are taking action! And particularly on two essential fronts: the health emergency and the economic emergency.

- Their agility and adaptability are outstanding: their organisational flexibility and use of digital tools allow them to offer a constant and energic support to their members and partners.

- Their solid and structured territorial networks are essential: they can identify the right actors and mobilise their ecosystems to search for solutions and support in order to meet the needs companies have to overcome /survive this crisis as well as the urgent needs for PPE (personal protection equipment).

At France Clusters, we are particularly proud of our community!
