Submitted by Veronika Muller on 21 September 2020

Summary of the European Alliance Against Coronavirus Daily Webinar on 16 September 2020

Arnaud Delaunay from the French Ministry for Economy and Finance presented their layout of the recovery plan and how clusters have been and are a partner in drafting this plan and setting the strategic priorities. The three pillars of the plan are greening, skills & social and territorial cohesions, and competitiveness & resilience. Greening is linked to innovation and the transformation of the French economy. The skills aspect focusses on getting the ecosystems ready for the digital transformation. To boost competitiveness and resilience, France will invest in key technologies.

Clusters have been included in building this programme and will be an important stakeholder for the implementation of the three pillars. They will build on existing synergies and work on the technology transfer between the ecosystems. Furthermore, the French government will continue with the stakeholder consultation through the recovery implementation.
