Deadline for EU Industry Week event proposals extended

Submitted by Lee Gibson on 20 November 2020

The applcation deadline has been extended for organisations wishing to organise an EU Industry Week event next year.

The new deadline to submit proposals is 13 December, for events which should take place between January and March 2021.

Organising an event gives an opportunity for organisations to boost their visibility while also contributing to the discussions on European Union industrial policy sparked by EU Industry Week.

Approved events will be labelled as 'EU Industry Week events' and will be promoted on the EU Industry Days website.

There is flexibility around the format, structure and duration of events. Examples include, but are not limited to: virtual workshops; seminars; open doors (virtual plant/factory tours); business presentations; training courses; job and education fairs; other events organised in partnership with other businesses, economic development groups and universities or training centres.

Events should, however, address the themes for EU Industry Week 2021, which are:

  • Shaping Europe's digital future
  • Making Europe’s industry climate-neutral by 2050
  • EU competitiveness in the changing global competitive landscape
