European Cluster Excellence Information Webinar

The information webinar on the recently published European Cluster Excellence Programme call for proposals took place on 12 February 2019. The webinar targeted the potential applicants interested in taking part in the new call for proposals. The information session focused on:

  • Objectives and specific aspects of the Call
  • Preparing and submitting a proposal
  • Key financial aspects
  • Available support services and information sources
  • Q&A session

The speakers guided potential applicants through the practical aspects of preparing and submitting a proposal, thus encouraging consortia of cluster organizations to apply.

About the Call

The overall objective of this call is to strengthen cluster management excellence and facilitate exchanges and strategic partnership between clusters across Europe, including a new “ClusterXchange” pilot scheme. High quality cluster management and strategic connections between clusters are key elements of world-class clusters.

Visit regularly the EASME page of the call and check the updated FAQs published there. Potential applicants should address all questions related to the content of the call by e-mail to EASME-COSME-CLUSTER-EXCELLENCE [at] ec.europa.eu (EASME-COSME-CLUSTER-EXCELLENCE[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu). Only questions sent to this functional mailbox will be answered. Answers will only be published periodically and within a reasonable period of time on this page. Last questions to be answered are those, which will be submitted at least 7 days prior to the closing date of this call.   

We also invite you to view and take advantage of the shared experiences and results of partnerships from the previous call for proposals of the Cluster Excellence Programme that recently ended their activities. In the attachments you can find additional presentations on the best practices and ideas for cluster cooperation, which can be a valuable source of inspiration for building a successful proposal. In addition to these presentations, you can watch the video presenting the INNO-DROP experience.

The deadline for electronic submission is 4 April 2019, 17:00 hours (Brussels time).
