Invitation & Call for Papers: 5th International Women4Energy Conference

After four successful conferences, Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum and its partner InnoEnergy Germany are pleased to announce this year’s International Women4Energy Conference taking place in

Hospitalhof, Stuttgart, Germany on 6th December 2017. 

The topic of this year’s conference will be “Next Renewable Energy Solutions”.

One focus will be the Winter package that has been presented by the European Commission in the end of 2016 - a package of measures to keep the European Union competitive as the clean energy transition is changing global energy markets. In the one-day conference,  its impact on new Renewable Energy solutions will be examined. Additionally, new Renewable Energy technologies, business ideas and research results will be presented.

The conference reaches out to all female professionals active in energy related innovation to:

  •           Create new business ideas and technology solutions for the energy market
  •           Generate and discuss new business models to get solutions to market
  •           Encourage innovative business creation, and to
  •           Enhance market entry for innovative energy technologies, processes and services.

Increase your own network by getting in touch with female experts in energy science and entrepreneurship in all energy related fields. And get engaged in the elaboration of innovative solutions for tomorrow.

The International Women4Energy Conference encourages female entrepreneurs, women from energy related industry, women in science from research institutions and universities, post doctoral fellows, PhD students, graduate students and master students to submit an abstract with their research results and technology solutions as well as business ideas in the field of new Renewable Energy solutions in one of the following sessions:

  •           New technologies for energy storage
  •           Next generation of wind and solar technologies
  •           Energy prosumers – opportunities and challenges

Interested parties are invited to send abstracts and a short CV using the Word template (maximum of 2 pages in English) and apply for the Call for Papers. They can present their paper in one of the parallel sessions in the afternoon.

During the day, there will be many opportunities for networking and exchange.

The conference language is English. The conference programme will be updated on our project website shortly.
