it@cork participated on an annual state visit to the Jiangsu province region, meeting:

• China Europe Innovation Centre
• Cambridge University - Nanjing Centre of Technology and Innovation
• China (Jaingsu) Free Trade Zone 
• Huawei Joint Validation Lab – Nanjing

The cluster representatives met Enterprise Ireland and Consulate Of Ireland in Shanghai. From a technology perspective, they discussed collaboration opportunities in the areas of talent exchange, start-up internationalisation, localisation supports and education. The level and scale of innovation in this region is exceptional with Nanjing Software Valley hosting +2,400 tech companies and employing +245k (China's largest ICT cluster). The County Council, the Irish Consulate and Enterprise Ireland had a great contribution to making this trip such a success.
