Latest edition of the S3 Newsletter

With an editorial on the contribution of clusters within the Smart Specialisation policy process, signed by Ulla Engelmann, Head of "Advanced Technologies, Clusters and Social Economy" Unit at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), the February 2020 issue highlight of the newsletter is the Call for expression of interest for regional and national authorities to participate in the three Peer eXchange and Learning (PXL) workshops, followed by distinct sections dedicated to Upcoming Events, Call and Expression of Interests, General Information, S3 Publications and Announcement.  An archive of previous issues is available here

The “S3 Newsletter” aims to provide information related to Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3) and promote exchanges among communities of practice. Members of the Stairway to Excellence (S2E), Lagging Regions and S3 Platform teams, members of the S3 Platform, Managing Authorities, Higher Education Institutions and other EU institutions as well as relevant stakeholders that are dealing with S3 related activities can provide information that will be promoted through the newsletter with the approval of the editorial committee.
