The Progress Report on the European Strategic Cluster Partnerships

Submitted by Alina Danieles… on 27 March 2019

The first “Progress Report on the European Strategic Cluster Partnerships”, prepared by the European Observatory for Clusters and Industrial Change (#EOCIC), is now available. This report aims to provide an overview of the first results, good practices and lessons learnt achieved by the second generation of European Strategic Cluster Partnerships for Going International (ESCP-4i) during their first months of operation.

The Observatory plans to conduct two more editions of the Progress Report, which will also cover the progress of ESCP-4i dual use and ESCP-S3.

For the development of this report, the Observatory conducted an online survey among the ESCP-4i to collect data on their first months of operation. The survey was developed and implemented in collaboration with the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) to benefit from the synergies between both initiatives.

The European Observatory for Clusters and Industrial Change (#EOCIC) is an initiative of the European Commission’s Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs Directorate-General. The Observatory provides a single access point for statistical information, analysis and mapping of clusters and cluster policy in Europe, aimed at European, national, regional and local policy-makers, as well as cluster managers and representatives of SME intermediaries.
