Save the date: EU-Korea Cluster Matchmaking Event and World IT Show, 27-29 May 2020, Seoul
The European Commission will organize an EU-Korea Cluster Matchmaking Event that will take place on 27-29 May 2020 back-to-back with the World IT Show in Seoul, South Korea. A call for expressions of interest targeting European clusters who wish to participate will be launched soon.
The event will gather clusters, companies and policy makers specialized in smart manufacturing from EU (and non-EU COSME) countries and South Korea. With the aim of strengthening economic ties between these countries, the program will focus on connecting actors wishing to pursue trade, investment and partnering agreements.
The event is jointly organized by the European Commission’s DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation of the Republic of Korea (KICOX) in the framework of their agreement on cluster cooperation.
The planned event will build on the successes of the EU-Korea Cluster Matchmaking Event that took place on 6 - 8 November 2018 in Vienna, Austria.
