Visit innovation hubs with the EIC

The virtual visit to innovation hubs is a novel concept, brought to you by the European Innovation Council (EIC) Business Acceleration Services.

It combines the unique elements of  flagship EIC events (ocrporate days, investors days and community trainings), while adding a dash of digital sightseeing of some of the most exciting start-up hubs in Europe!

Whether you’re curious to find out what these hubs can offer in terms of conditions and funding schemes, you would like to meet with large corporates and investors active in these hubs or you’re looking to enter a new European market, there’s something for everyone’s taste.

The start-up scene in Stockholm

Sweden, and in particular Stockholm, is well known for producing successful companies and unicorns. Stockholm is home to major innovations players like ABB, Antler, Hitachi, IKEA, NASDAQ North, SAAB and WeWork Labs, all of whom will be attending the EIC Innovation Hub Visit.  The virtual visit to Stockholm innovation hub will take place on 13-14 October 2020, fully online, and consists of several dedicated sessions.

What’s in it for you?

  • Meet with investors, corporates and other business partners active in the Stockholm start-up hub.
  • Learn about incentives and special conditions for EU start-ups and SMEs.
  • Realise how attractive the innovation hub is in terms of access to talent.
  • Understand intercultural business etiquette.
  • Interact with local and/or EIC peers.

Who can apply?

The applications are open to all Small and Medium Enterprises funded by the EIC, both EIC Accelerator and EIC Pathfinder. The final attendee list will be established based on a first-come, first-served basis. You can apply here (EU-Login needed).
