Summary Report on Cluster Policy in Regions

The summary report on lessons learnt from fostering modern Cluster Policy in regions in industrial transition summarises the work carried out by EOCIC in the 10 pilot regions in industrial transition and proposes concrete policy proposals tailored to the regions’ needs. The work of EOCIC shows clusters as a key driver for smart specialisation and it indicates how modern cluster policy can help shape regional industrial transition.

The pilot regions covered by the report are: Cantabria (Spain), Centre-Val de Loire (France), East & North Finland, Hauts-de-France, Lithuania, North-Middle Sweden, Piemonte (Italy), Saxony (Germany), Slovenia and Wallonia (Belgium).
