The World Built Environment Forum webinar will look at the principles underpinning city clusters, with a focus on the link between infrastructure, connectivity, access to talent pools, improved circulation of goods and services, increased support for supply chains and diversification of real estate markets.

Infrastructure, connectivity and access to talent pools are all influential components in the success factor for regional economies, but how can you make the most of these? The upcoming World Built Environment Forum webinar will look into industrial strategy and how it can be localised to boost “left-behind” regions, in a global economy dominated by Tier 1 cities.

Chaired by RICS’ Head of Sustainable Urbanisation, John Kraus, an industry led panel will debate:

  • Whether clusters are created, or do they emerge;
  • How to scale solutions from neighbourhood to city to cluster; and
  • The cause of and solution for economic tensions caused by clusters.
