We launched the call for expressions of interest for the organisation of an event on Policy Learning for Policy Makers and Capacity Building for Cluster Organisations! On behalf of the European Commission (DG GROW) we invite regions and cities from EU and COSME participating countries interested to host such an event organised by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. See the call for expressions of interest and apply before 9 March 2020 here!

Clusters support the green transition towards a more resource-efficient Circular Economy in line with the Commission’s focus on implementing the European Green Deal. How? Here are three examples from this week’s activities on the platform:

  • The INNOSUP project C-Voucher addresses the issue of how circular economy is applied in cities and compiled 8 cases of cities where the circular economy model has already been applied. Read more here.
  • 13 industrial Basque clusters in the automotive, energy, logistics, mobility, construction and food value chains are key facilitators at the Basque Ecodesign Meeting 2020 taking place in Bilbao, Spain on 26-27 February 2020. As the biggest event on eco-design and circular economy in Southern Europe, it will gather specialists in industrial product design from all over Europe to analyse the implications the transition towards a circular economic model will have for industry and to debate the business opportunities and improvements in business competitiveness that this model offers. • AEI TÈXTILS presents its cluster driven initiatives for sustainability and circular economy during the launch of Recircula Challenge 2020. Read more here.
