The Smart City in Mediterranean Territories: Funding, deployment and 2021-2027 opportunities
The final conference of the ESmartCity project, involving partners from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Spain, France, Greece, Italy and Portugal, is to be hold online on 16 July 2020.
Organised by Capenergies and other partners from the Interreg MED-funded project, the event will showcase the results of their collaborations during the last two-years to support the development of smarter and more sustainable cities in the Mediterranean area.
There will also be recommendations on public procurement to support cooperation between public authorities and innovative companies in the context of green economies, as well as a look at forthcoming European funding opportunities including the renewed Interreg MED programme for 2021-2027 and the 100 sustainable and digital Cities Challenge of the European Commission.
Delegates will also get the chance to take part in online transnational 1-1 meetings with members of the Euro-mediterranean ecosystems of Smart City stakeholders to seek future partners for collaborative and/or territorial projects as well as promote their own innovations.
