Cluster Collaboration Lab (C2LAB) Ljubljana/Brdo pri Kranju - Input Paper

The primary aim of this Input Paper is to provide a relevant information that will support the innovative efforts of the participants of the Cluster Collaboration Lab (C2Lab) held in Ljubljana/Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia, on the 25th and 26th October 2023. This C2Lab offers a valuable opportunity for attendees from cluster organisations, companies, research organisations, civil society, and other interested parties to discover potential partners for collaboration, advance project concepts, and create business cases for innovative solutions within the Danube region.

Overview

Summary: The si-Cluster in Athens has established itself as a key actor within the regional industrial ecosystem. The cluster cooperates with and is used by regional authorities in the development of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) and in facilitating regional industrial transition. Since its establishment in 2009, the cluster became an important institution in the region, bringing together around 80% of the approximately 100 space actors in Greece.

Summary: The economy in Hajdú-Bihar is strongly influenced by tourism. Due to the landscape, traditions, thermal waters and the knowledge of the University of Debrecen, there are many opportunities and services for recreation, sightseeing, fishing and hunting, gastronomic and cultural events as well as conference and business tourism. The natural thermal springs of Hajdú-Bihar form the thematic core of tourism and represent a special potential for the region.
