As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, the European Commission has implemented changes to the current MSCA-RISE 2020 call. The final details from the European Commission include: 

• The extension of the Research and Innovation Staff Exchange programme (RISE) 2020 call deadline by two weeks, until 12th May 2020, 17:00 CEST
• A request for the submission of Letters of Commitment from partners only at the Grant Agreement Preparation phase (i.e. only from those proposals selected for funding or put on the reserve list).

Therefore, the 2020 RISE call for proposals is currently open. Organisations such as Universities, Research Centres and Associated Companies that want to offer short-term exchanges to their staff can apply on the Funding and Tenders Portal. Funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions and with an overall budget of €80 million, the RISE programme promotes cross-border and cross-sector collaboration between research and markets across Europe and beyond.
