The Horizon 2020-funded UFO project is seeking applications for funding for initiatives in the small flying objects (SFO) field.

UFO aims to finance projects from European small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop innovative products and services by integrating new embedded technology solutions in SFO (smallsats, drones and high altitude platform systems) to support six emerging industries.

This call for proposals is spedifically seeking partnerships of two or more SMEs to support one of the six targeted industries - mobility, environment, blue growth, finance and insurance, climate or digital and creative/gaming.

By integrating the SFO in the value chains of the industries, the aim is to help SMEs develop further sensors, nanotechnologies, microelectronics and new exploitation solutions.

Participation is open to all SMEs based in one of the UFO partner countries (Bulgaria, France, Greece, Romania and the United Kingdom) with up to €60,000 in project funding available per SME for:

• Feasibility analysis
• Market and business development studies
• Demonstration (development and implementation of a product/service/solution)
