The DIGI-B-CUBE project, funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, aims to establish a cross-border and cross-sectoral ecosystem that combines digital innovations from the IT sector with three key important industries (Bioimaging, Biosensing, and Biobanking) within the health sector.

The project organised its 2nd physical consortium meeting on November 14, 2019. The meeting was hosted by the Oslo Cancer Cluster (OCC), the project coordinating institution based in Oslo, Norway. It is relevant to mention that on the days prior to the meeting, some partners also attended the last Sectoral Workshop held as part of the EHiN 2019 conference.

Representatives from all partner organisations attended the consortium meeting. The meeting aimed to review the work carried out since project inception, to understand the status of the activities ongoing, and to manage the planning of those foreseen in the upcoming months. The activity plan including the timeline of deliverables and milestones of the project was reviewed, reiterating the responsibilities for the tasks led under different Work Packages. Emphasis was laid on prioritising tasks in accordance with the project timeline. Launching of the open call was discussed in detail to clearly indicate the role of each partner and the deadlines expected to be met. The meeting agenda had a dedicated slot for each Work Package to be discussed in detail. The responsible partners led the discussions while simultaneously agreeing on the related next steps.
