4th Cluster Matchmaking Conference: Internationalization the Strategic Way.

The Packaging Cluster was present in Poland with 30 different countries’ clusters.

On 19th and 20th September, the entities Enterprise Europe NetworkCluster Exellence Denmark and BSR Stars, organized the “4th Conference Matchamking Cluster” in Warsaw, Poland. The two-day conference is the most important meeting point for European clusters. This year, over 220 participants from 30 countries has resulted in 500 individual meetingsbetween the attendees to promote innovation globally.

The program was structured into three different components, divided between the two days. The first day was devoted to the two rounds of individual meetings of 20 minutes between clusters, where each cluster was reunited with 8 entities, selected previously.

The second session of the conference was focused on networking and knowledge sharing to discover new opportunities for collaboration in key cluster. Invigorated as group workshops between different clusters to develop projects and work intercluster internationalization strategy. As well as to know all the H2020 possibilities of funding as the BSR Innovation ExpressINNOSUPCORNET, among others.

In addition, during the two days, different experts of the internationalization of clusters, shared their experience with the audience: Werner Pamminger, CEO at Clusterland Upper AustriaEmily Wise, Phd from Lund University, Jacob Mogensen, Cluster Manager for theDanish Innovation Network for Biomass (INBIOM), Michael Browne, Head of European Research & Innovation, University College London, Florin Paun, Development & Strategy Director in Competitiveness Cluster SAFE and Lucia Seel, Global Communication and Content Manager, European Cluster Collaboration Platform. Everything was moderated byChristian Ketels, PhD in Economics, professor at the Harvard Business School and President of TCI.
