AEICE joins the 'Pact for a circular economy: The commitment of the economic and social agents 2018-2020'

Submitted by ENRIQUE COBREROS on 22 March 2019

In 2017, the Spanish Ministries of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment and Economy, Industry and Competitiveness promoted the 'Pact for a circular economy: The commitment of the economic and social agents 2018-2020' in order to involve Spain's main economic and social agents in the transition to this new economic model.

On March 1, AEICE signed the letter of adhesion to the Pact, committing to promote the transition towards a circular economy.

With this commitment, AEICE joins a list of 333 entities of all types, sizes and sectors of activity. Together, we propose to change the production model, and to move towards a more sustainable development, as proclaimed by the 17 Objectives of Sustainable Development, to which AEICE is also committed through the signing of the Salamanca Declaration in June 2018.
