Baltic Sea & Space Cluster B2B Meeting at the Nauta Shiprepair Yard 24 April 2019/

The meeting of the Baltic Sea & Space Cluster members took place at the Nauta Nautical Shipyard on April 24 this year. The yard encompasses about 19.7 hectares of land including the present facility near the Gdynia city centre and newly acquired area of former Stocznia Gdynia S.A. – informed Jarosław Staluszka (NAUTA Marketing Manager).  The shipyard has one 380 – metre – by – 70 – metre dry dock and four floating docks with lifting capacity ranging from 1,200 to 12,000 tonnes and has about 2,900 lineal metres of berthing with all the cranes required. It is fully equipped to carry out most advanced ship repairs and conversions to the ship owners requirements and demands – informed Marek Kac NAUTA Production Manager.

About HYDROMEGA history, international cooperation and hydraulic systems for ships, including fully automated Ro-Ro system – informed Zbigniew Zienowicz, owner and president of the HYDROMEGA. About Autmatic Systems Engineering Group structure, activity in maritime industry, projects and products informed Wojciech Panfil, Chairman of the Board C&T Elmech. The business practice in insurance and real estate trade in maritime companies was spoken by prof. Zdzisław Brodocki, President of CLUSTER (BSSC) THINK TANK. Sławomir Pawłowski spoke about international cooperation and acquiring cadres from the international market in maritime business, and Barbara Matusiak spoke about the role of arbitration and mediation in business.

The role of outsourcing in the company’s operations, personnel supervision and security of the company was discussed by Joanna Korzeniowska-Chmielewska (director of the Region of the Mid-Term) and Arkadiusz Holz (the representative of the Management Board) of IMPEL GROUP. Dariusz Włodarczyk spoke about the role of IT security and protection against intrusions into computer systems. Agnieszka Potoczny, director of Brokers Union, presented the problem of risk transfer, insurance and compensation implementation.
