The Basque Energy Cluster and the Chilean Association of Renewable Energies sign a collaboration agreement

On December 13, the Basque Energy Cluster signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ACERA (Chilean Association of Renewable Energies) with the objective of establishing a formal cooperation initiative between both parties in order to strengthen business between Chile and the Basque Country, the exchange of knowledge, research and technological cooperation, as well as promoting the internationalization of Basque and Chilean companies.

The signing of this Memorandum was carried out in the context of the Final Target Market Group Meeting of project REINA PLUS, taking advantage of the presence of Carlos Finat, General Director of ACERA, who presented during the day the status and prospects of the Chilean energy market. The signing was also attended by José Freitas, Policy Officer of the European Commission, who attended as European representative within the framework of REINA PLUS project. Through this agreement, it is expected to strengthen the business connection of the energy sector between the Basque Country and Chile.
