The Catalan Energy Cluster is working on three innovation projects that were selected by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism

The Catalan Energy Cluster has won a grant boosted by the The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. 

The projects recognized by the ministry have been:

‘BATTERY-LESS SENSOR’.  This project is developing in the field of energy digitization and aims to carry out a feasibility study to determine the suitability of the use of wireless sensors with long-range communications powered by the residual heat produced by the machine itself, and in which Alternative Energy Innovations (Aeinnova) and Valoritza Serveis Medioambientals participate with a grant of 36,935.00€.

‘SMARTPLUG’ is based on the sustainable mobility sector and it consists of the integration of a new intelligent control system, connected in a cloud environment that offers new functionalities to cover all the needs of users, operators and owners, in the points charging at charging points for electric vehicles. This consortium consists of Simon and Place to Plug with a grant of 56,459.00€.

‘INSIGA’, which aims to provide ICT models and tools for the optimization in the design and subsequent operation of systems of collective self-consumption for industrial estates and companies and facilitate the impetus and scaling of this form of self-consumption in the country's industrial parks. The project is made up of Armengol & Ros Consultants and Associates (ArcBcn), RSM GASSO CIMNE ENERGY (Inergy) and Navarra de Suelo y Vivienda (Nasuvinsa) with a grant of 68,580.00€.
