CEAGA: The new BFA companies will complete the value chain in the area 4.0

The list of new companies that will be part of the second edition of the Business Factory Auto (BFA) initiative will be published at the end of this month of September. About 40 projects were presented and a maximum of 10 will be invited for the acceleration phase and up to 10 in the consolidation stage, which is one of the novelties of this second edition.

These new selected companies will complete the value chain of the Galician Automotive Sector in the area of new technologies or advanced industry. As for the specific theme of the projects presented, 36% in the field of productive processes, 28% of product, 21% business processes, 7% of logistics and 8% of the field of people.

As part of the search for continuous improvement, BFA has organized a trip to Lille (France), where a group formed by representatives of the four driving forces of Business Factory Auto (Xunta de Galicia, Zona Franca, Grupo PSA and CEAGA) will visit, next September 19th, one of the most important accelerators in Europe, Euratechnologies.

Euratechnologies is dedicated to Information and Communication Technologies and is located in the metropolitan area of Lille. It brings together hundreds of agents from the world of research, higher education and the field of technologies (startups, small and big companies from France and other foreign countries). It also has a network of 150 companies related to digital technology, from Shanghai, Dubai, New York, San Francisco, etc. It was founded in 2009 and is ranked as one of the ten best accelerators in Europe and the first in France.

Subsequently, on September 20th, representatives of the BFA initiative will accompany the two projects of the first edition, Ingeniería y Control Merasys and Situm Technologies, to Booster Day of the PSA Group, to be held at the Armand Peugeot Forum in Poissy.

These two companies will have the opportunity to meet different experts and enter to the innovation ecosystem of the automotive group, in addition to having its own stand to exhibit its innovative solutions. The BFA will also have a stand to exhibit the innovation capabilities present in the ecosystem of the Galician Automotive Sector.
