After participating in a Study Visit held in Barcelona during 6th and 7th of November, the delegation of CLUSGRID members and INNODROP members traveled to Valencia to attend the event Grow Your Region, organized by the European Commission to promote cooperation between public and private agents linked to the cluster world. The event was co-organized by the General Directorates for "Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMES" and "Regional and Urban Policy", in cooperation with the Government of Valencia. This conference sought to generate knowledge about the implementation and deployment of European smart specialization strategies and particularly, the ways in which clusters have driven the growth of European regions.

As well as counting with first level speaker and gathered more than 300 attendees, the conference had a differentiating element: to involve everyone to participate. In this way, the consortium had the chance to participate in several workshops, first joining the European Commission directly in charge of Cluster Excellence program to brainstorm about the next call for projects. And secondly to find out new initiatives to put in place to helping to achieve having World Class Clusters.
