Submitted by Ariadna Detrell on 02 July 2019

CONTEXT, led by AEI TÈXTILS, has organized its first training school, which will take place from 17th to 20th September in Rethymno (Crete, Greece).

The training school, for up to 15 students, will be dedicated to the last developments in advanced textile materials in building&living and in personal protective equipment.

For the students’ selection, CONTEXT has opened a call, which will close on 10th July. A grant of 1.100 EUR (900 EUR for residents in Greece) will be provided as a contribution to the travelling costs, accommodation and subsistence during the Training School.

Trainees must be engaged in an official research programme as a PhD Student or postdoctoral fellow or can be employed by, or affiliated to, an institution, organisation or legal entity, which has within its remit a clear association with performing research.

The aim of these training schools is allow attendees to share points of view, to discuss topics related to the thematic and generate ideas that could/should be transformed into research & development projects.
