The delegation of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism welcomed representatives of companies from the Czech Republic. The head of the Czech delegation was Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Moravian-Silesian Region, Ms Natalie Šitavancová. In addition, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce, Vojvodina Metal Cluster (VMC) and the Enterprise Europe Network. The aim of the meeting was to find models and new opportunities for economic integration of AP Vojvodina and the Moravian-Silesian region, with a special focus on the metal sector. The results achieved by companies in this sector are clear, visible and economically measurable and require significant support. With its innovative approach, Vojvodina Metal Cluster serves as an example to the others, primarily by the way it connects with its partners in the domestic and foreign markets, exchanging information and applying new technological solutions, constantly improving its work.

The following day was reserved for bilateral meetings between Serbian and Czech companies, which took place at Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina. Vojvodina Metal Cluster has long-term cooperation with metal companies from the Czech Republic. The cluster has signed Cooperation Agreement with Havirovsko-karvnisky KOVO KLASTR from Ostrava. As a result of successfull cooperation, a foreign trade has been launched. There is an export of agricultural machinery for small and medium-sized farms in the Czech Republic and import of equipment and welding materials to Serbia.
