Design Advisory Service case study in SEE

Submitted by Alina Danieles… on 18 March 2019

In 2009, the Design Industry Advisory Committee (DIAC) launched the Design Advisory Service (DAS) to connect Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to designers to improve innovation results. Over the next eight years, the DAS program completed 75 projects in which designers from the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, industrial, interior, graphic and fashion design advised Ontario SMEs on how to use an Integrated Design Process to address their strategic business goals. Some of the early projects are discussed in this Sharing Experience Europe: Policy Innovation Design (SEE) Bulletin Issue 4 case study, page 12.
