GENERAL ASSEMBLY and II DAY OF OPEN DOORS of the BIOTECYL CLUSTER

The Health Cluster of Castilla y León, BIOTECYL, held its General Assembly on April 1, 2019, in the Common Uses Building, of the León Technology Park. Led by its President, Rocío García Cañamaque-representative of the company LEON RESEARCH, the organization has presented for approval the annual report and accounts for the year 2018 before the companies and entities attending. Those present have also approved the Action Plan for the current year.

Then, the Cluster organized the II DAY OF OPEN DOORS, in which almost fifty entities of the sector participated. This conference was intended to be a meeting point for the different companies that make up the Health sector in Castilla y León, and aimed to present the Cluster's partners, and the projects and activities that are being carried out, as well as the different possibilities of collaboration.

In addition, the new lines of action included in the STRATEGIC PLAN 2019-2023 have been presented, in which you know we have been working for months, in collaboration with the partners. Amaya Morales from the INFYDE consultancy presented the main strategic lines of this new plan:

  • Cooperation.
  • Growth and diversification
  • Training and specialization.
  • Visibility and internationalization.

The president of BIOTECYL welcomed the attendees and presented the conference, and then the report of activities of the Cluster in 2018 and the advance of the forecasts for 2019 were announced.

At the end of the meeting there was a networking lunch. Next, the facilities of our partners BIOMAR, LEON RESEARCH and MABXIENCE were visited. Thank you very much everyone for your welcome!
