ICT Cluster Bourgas project supports IT entrepreneurs

The signing of the contract matched in time and place with the final High-level Conference on "The European Pillar of Social Rights: Working Together to Deliver", led today by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Bulgarian European Presidency.

The project "Providing Effective Support for Entrepreneurship" is implemented by the leading partner "Cluster Information and Communication Technologies Burgas" and by the partner Agency Pro Way Ltd., and is financed by Procedure BG05M9OP001-1.023 "Support for Entrepreneurship" on the Operational programme "Human Resources Development".

The partners will inform, identify, train and motivate individuals, willing to develop their own business in the Southeastern planning region - Burgas, Sliven, Yambol and Stara Zagora.

Today, at the official ceremony in the National Palace of Culture, the contract for the start of the project was signed by Zornitsa Rusinova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy and Petko Georgiev, President of ICT Cluster Burgas.

The project will focus on a large-scale information campaign, as well as entrepreneurship training, to acquire business skills essential for entrepreneurial skills and mindset. In addition, advisory activities and expert support to the target group will be implemented, which will help create the right environment for entrepreneurship by providing information on available financial resources to start and develop their own business in the first moments of existence of the company.

 

As a result of the successful implementation of the project activities, new jobs will be created, unemployment will be reduced and the entrepreneurial initiative in the South-East region will be stimulated. The measures and activities will also have a positive impact on the state of the regional labor market.

 

Project activities last for 18 months and start on October 1, 2018.
