Investment Seminar & Business Match Making 2016, 7 – 12 of October, Seul, South Korea

On 7-12 October 2016 the Transilvanian Clusters Consortium participated to an economic delegation and a presentation  seminar of business environment from Cluj-Napoca, Romania  in South Korea, Seoul.

This economic delegation was possible with the efforts of organizers SBC (Small & Medium Business Corporation), the Municipality of Cluj-Napoca, SBC Frankfurt BI Center, Open Bridge Consortium and Transilvanian Cluster Consortium.

The main purpose of this economic delegation was to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries, to build trust and to develop new projects by supporting partnerships between the Romanian and Korean parties.

At this economic delegation had the opportunity to participate four clusters from Cluj-Napoca (iTech Transilvania Cluster, Agro Transilvania Cluster, Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, TREC-Transylvania Energy Cluster) that operate in different fields and, also some of their member companies. During this economic mission, the Romanian participants had the possibility to exchange information about current economic trends and find new opportunities to develop projects in different sectors.

Moreover, exchanging information was the key of the meetings and during the mission, clusters from Cluj-Napoca could present their collaboration projects and their structure and organization. Therefore, an open invitation for collaboration was addressed to all the  participating Korean clusters, organisations and companies through the Transilvanian clusters. The delegation was led by Cluj-Napoca city mayor and other representatives from the local public administration.

The Korean delegation’s visit to Transilvania (Cluj)  for taking further the collaboration projects is planned to take place in the first half of next year.
