MESAP together with AMMA , Piemonte Region and Politecnico di Torino sponsored the 15th Product Lifecycle Management International Conference (PLM IC) - 1-4 July 2018.
The initiative brought together researchers, developers and users of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and aimed at involving all stakeholders of the wide concept of PLM, hoping to shape the future of this field and advance the science and practice of enterprise development.
The conference covered a wide range of topics concerning - for example - the approaches for managing product data and information, the enabling tools, the Industry 4.0 paradigm, and the Product-Service systems.
The conference focused on special topics of interest:
- Building Information Modelling
- PLM Maturity, Implementation and Adoption
- Education in the field of Industry 4.0
- Lean Organization for Industry 4.0
On the occasion of PLM 2018 MESAP presented its industrial competence ecosystem with more than 250 companies and contributed to the discussion of PLM in 4.0 industry.
Special attention to premises case studies like Thales Alenia Space, Fidia, Comau, SKF (MESAP Members!), Avio GE, Hitachi Rail,FCA Group, Ferrero, Baladin, Acque Sant’Anna, , TMC, Bosch Rexroth, Electrolux, TIM, ORS, Hansen Yuncken.
