MESAP proud to be smart, proud  of its members

On the occasion of AUTOMATICA Fair (Munich 19th -22nd  June), COMAU one of the 257 MESAP’s members presented MATE to more than 46,000 visitors interested in future topics of human-robot collaboration, digital transformation in production and service robotics.

MATE is an exoskeleton designed to support body movements during work: an ergonomically designed spring-based structure which eases the repetitive movements and relieves the effort, thanks to a lightweight, breathable and effective postural support. Exoskeleton is fully able to replicate dynamic movements of the shoulder while enwrapping the body like a second skin: this ensures greater comfort for the worker and increases work quality and efficiency by providing consistent movement assistance during manual and repetitive tasks.

The video was also presented to the ECSEL Symposium audience: RTD, public authorities, large enterprises European Technology Platforms and clusters (MESAP included) gathered in Brussels on 19-20 June 2018 to share emerging trends and new perspectives in the digital sector with a focus on “How the digital transformation will change our world”.
