October 8-9, 2015 Užupis Creative Cluster participated in a modern technology and entrepreneurial event called #SWITCH! Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO, Hall 5 offered room for Cool & Crazy space where UCC presented its new project Generator - creative workshop and business incubator located at Business Hive Vilnius.

The event #SWITCH! was designed for the like-minded people who share an interest in the digital future. This is the place in which both met together the pupils, students and world-renowned names such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Nasdaq as well as heads of state and the public sector. The exhibition was visited by 5,000 visitors, 1,700 participants introduced themselves.

At #SWITCH! Cool & Crazy space UCC installed a 32 m2 stand which accounted for almost 8% of the Cool & Crazy all-round space and was the third largest among such actors as KTU, VGTU or Solid Education. Generator has attracted the most visitors and was one of the brightest and most active Cool & Crazy spaces. Media representatives, including LRT, which were doing reports from the show have had in their background and visual material Generator stand and activities therein.

Cool & Crazy space was designed to introduce visitors to the exhibition of digital technology and other innovative inventions and let them do the live tests. Generator project presented by Užupis Creative Cluster exhibited constructors, robots, advanced technology examples that could be tested by all visitors. Shows of Scientific Laboratory N-2 were particularly attractive to the exhibition guests and let them have fun with the makings of trivial yet enchanting physics and chemistry laws. During shows the spectators could touch upon an absolute zero, electrical, mechanical and other attractions of these areas. This was perfectly in line with the theme of the exhibition and presented the activities of a Generator workshop. The stand has been dubbed and shone, constantly filled with music and LED spotlights what made him especially attractive.

As a promotional tool a business card-sized generator sticker with QR code has been selected in order to enable visitors to affix it to any desired location. QR code was selected as one of the most innovative and modern information dissemination tools corresponding to the theme of the exhibition.

During 2 days of the exhibition the stand was visited by 5,000 visitors and over 1,800 stickers were distributed. Also numerous contacts with potential partners or potential Generator visitors were made in person. We hope to meet them again shortly just before Christmas when Generator creative workshop will open its doors to the public.
